Spring's In the Air

The sun is out,
the last few days have been a bit warmer,
the first crocus is popping it's head out of the ground ...
Spring is in the air!

  1. As usual I love your pictures. I want to bite into the pears and I don't even like pears. This makes me feel like spring and I am sooooo ready. Did your Mom make the star ornament that has "Wish" on it?
    Have a great week.

  2. I love your pictures. What kind of camera do you have? I am looking for one and am asking everyone.

  3. Jeanne,
Thank you, I'm so ready for Spring too. The "wish" is actually a little wand, it's so cute, she bought it from an Etsy shop.
I hope you have a great week too!

  4. Chandra,
Thank you so much about the pictures. I'm definitely not a photographer and I feel like it takes me forever to get a good shot. I use a point and click camera, it's a sony cybershot. I bought it for just everyday picture taking and the started using it on the house. I fuss with the pictures a lot afterwards, cropping and stuff. I was reading someone else's blog that uses a point and click and she recommended using Picasa to edit photos and that's what I used for the spring ones. It helped me to get them brighter like it is in person that I couldn't capture in the picture because of the lighting and flash.
Here are two websites, Miss Mustard Seed and Funky Junk. The first talks about camera options, the other about photo editing and Picasa including the free download of the program. My brother has a "fancier" camera and when he comes home in a couple of weeks he's going to bring it home for me to try out, I'll let you know if it makes a difference. Hope this helps!
